Using Infrastructure As Code (IAC) best practices, create automated infrastructure within AWS, including package management, application load and configuration, and systems monitoring and administration.

• Implements and maintain CI/CD tools, services, processes to support development, QA, and customer value realization teams.
• Contribute to Operations strategy planning, design, implementation, and maintenance activities.
• Deliver improvements to source code management, deployment, operations, maintenance, cost control, security, monitoring, and audit tools and processes.
• Be part of maintaining a 24x7, global, highly available SaaS environment according to internal and external service levels agreements.
• Ensure the production environment is operating in accordance with established procedures and best practices. Provide escalated support for high severity and critical network events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our customers and Product teams to ensure that we are productionizing software that meets all standards including, security, monitoring, performance and SLAs.
• Simplify architecture and operations to increase efficiency, monitoring, performance and maintainability
• Recommend and implement solutions after analyzing business needs to drive for positive outcomes
• Works with Product Owners and Development Lead to translate vision to executable roadmap
• Develop, implement and maintain DevSecOps engineering standards
• Actively drive without support; see big picture and understand how every stream is related to others
• Lead a technical team of DevSecOps engineers
• Grow a high performing team while maintaining the ability to roll up one’s sleeves and do hands-on work
• Ensure team members understand their duties and responsibilities
• Mentor individual team members, so they can meet and exceed expectations
• Collaborate with other technical leads to handle cross -team dependencies
• 7 to 10 years of hands on demonstrated experience leading and developing complex applications using Python, setting up CICD pipelines, AWS eco system, Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Agile framework
• Deep knowledge and understanding of application security vulnerabilities (SANS, OWASP)
• Deep Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines covering source control, integration, and deployment (ex: GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, iOS and Android)
• Ability to proactively identify areas of technical improvement (efficiency, performance, scalability, security and maintainability of applications)
• Ability to organise & lead work to achieve technical improvement (efficiency, performance, scalability, security and maintainability of applications) and deliver measurable business value
• Ability to create, maintain and elevate team to follow Agile and engineering processes and best practices
• Ability to question and defend architectures, assumptions, and business value of solutions
