Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

Operations / Maintenance Regional Manager, Quetta

  • Handles all the work related to his/her assigned maintenance project(s) and ensures that they are executed in accordance with client’s specifications.  
  • Handles smooth operation of the managed services project, coordination with client, and OHS & Quality representatives. 
  • Ensures that the O&M Contract is fully read & understood.  
  • Ensures preventive maintenance is planned, executed, monitored and follows up with issues found till closure. 
  • Ensures Corrective maintenance executed as per process. 
  • Ensures all KPI’s related to fuel, PM, CM, NOC, Spares & Consumables are achieved as per O&M contract. 
  • Ensures internal software of O&M (I-TSM & M-ITSM) are implemented fully and all the activity related to O&M is recorded in the system.  
  • Ensures monthly reconciliation of PM, CM, Extra Work, Fuel, and SLA with client.  
  • Communicates and agrees with the client for penalties, warnings, etc. in case violation of SLA and plans for improvement to minimize penalties or SLA violation. 
  • Inspects the quality of the equipment and undertakes site inspection to determine if they are complying with government regulations, client requirements and industry standards. 
  • Analyzes resources requirements and acquires, monitors, and makes suggestions or improvements accordingly. (Resources include but not limited to Human, tools, equipment and transportation). 
  • Evaluates field staff and the quality of work through personal inspections and other means. 
  • Arranges internal and external scheduled meetings (as per O&M project requirement) covering all areas from quality, status, progress, logistics and reporting based on SLAs and KPIs, and suggests improvements. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to think critically and proactively, anticipates risks and prepares solutions in advance. 
  • Ensures timely spares procurement, ordering, and availability in the stock and field according to the project’s requirement. 
  • Ensures that site security is well managed, monitored, and updated based on risk levels of the site. 
  • Implements efficient fuel management system e.g. forecasting, delivery, consumption, monitoring, and controlling. 
  • Coordinates with the O&M Supervisor and other concerned staff for analysis, reporting, and improvement plans in accordance with client and SLA requirement. 
  • Prepares annual O&M budgets for his/her operation and shares with his/her direct supervisor. 
  • Monitors costs and ensures expenses are within allocated budget.  
  • Ensures that all client reports are submitted on timely manner, agreed and acted. 
  • Follows up on client’s payments and reports status to the MS Head according to i engineering’s internal procedures. 
  • Supervises and follows up on all documentation related to the O&M project.  
  • Coaches and develops the O&M Supervisors and teams assigned to him/her. 
  • 7-10 years in field work or relevant experience (Active & Passive maintenance). 
  • A Multi-tasker that is well organized and can work well under pressure. 
  • A Team leader that can negotiate. 
  • A Decision maker that can work independently and is comfortable with handling multiple projects with strict deadlines.
