Overview: The Business Development Executive (BDE) role is designed to drive IGATE visibility in the marketplace through effective use of social media and tools to drive net new customer engagements, net new opportunities and business growth for IGATE. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the suppliers to create increased accountability, business engagement, opportunities, proposals and sales.
You Will :
· Prospect and strategically hunt for new business
· Drive retention and growth with existing client base
· Identify and prospect large opportunities at multiple levels
· Close new business on a consistent basis
· Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
· Maintain an active schedule of appointments and prospecting calls
· Manage your own sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
· Oversee your clients’ campaigns and regularly communicate performance results
· Adjust and build sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals and job functions
· Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from company databases and resources such as list subscriptions, LinkedIn, Suppliers. Create campaigns for potential customers and update and categorize those records in CRM.
· Telephone & emails to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
· Maintain accurate records of contacts, accounts and appointments set.
· Answer inbound telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements, emails etc.
