| Job Description: |
Network Engineer with over 5 years of experience with expertise in configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cisco Routers and Nexus Switches, Cisco ASA Firewall and SFR/FireSIGHT. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and troubleshooting on Cisco Nexus 2/3/7/9k
- Configuration and Troubleshooting on Cisco IOS devices like 6500 series, 6800 series, 3750, 3850, ASR1000x, Cisco G2 Routers.
- Work in a high paced environment and meet the Project deadlines.
- Design, implementation, support and maintenance of WAN, LAN and related technologies.
- Participation in root cause analysis and post mortem processes with business, customer services and other technology teams
- Participation in the documentation processes including network diagrams, HLD, LLD, NRFU
Specific Skills & Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with
- Network protocols (TCP-IP, OSI),
- Routing Protocols ( BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Data Communication equipment (Switches, Routers, Nexus Platform)
- Specific technologies such as Wireless, load balancing, SSL acceleration, encryption tools and certificates.
- Troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Fluke Optiview)
- Network management tools (such as SNMP, CiscoWorks, HP OpenView, RMon, Sniffer, etc.)
- Firewall and IPS technologies (Cisco ASA, SFR, ESA, WSA, ISE, ACS)
Qualifications
- Must have B.E/B.S Academic qualification
- Having CCNA/CCNP and CCIE (preferred)
