Job Description:

A rapidly growing American based healthcare platform where software, user experience and advanced patient-caregiver connectivity come together; integrating telemedicine and location services connecting medical devices and the data that powers it all. As General Manager, Sales, you will have the opportunity to work with our Advanced Healthcare Solutions portfolio – a portfolio that is regularly expanding to enhance outcomes for patients and their caregivers on one-stop healthcare platform.

Reporting to the CEO, the GM Sales will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Drive the generation of new sales across a broad array of product categories of one-stop healthcare platform includes selling multiple products including all current and future healthcare product offerings. The GM Sales must understand the detailed functionality and benefit offering of each product line, how each product is best applied to meet emergent customer needs, benefits the products will provide to both the patient and caregivers and an ability to articulate an economic benefit.
  • Define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth.
  • Demonstrate an effective understanding of competitive action and work to develop a plan to address problem areas. Understand how our one-stop healthcare platform operates in the healthcare space.
  • In conjunction with functional resources, develop a financial and value-based deal structure that addresses the customers’ needs both from a functional and business perspective.
  • Drive team compliance with quoting rules and standards to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction with purchased solutions.
  • Use financial tools, models and creative deal structure to help maintain business margin targets.
  • Conduct negotiations with the health care providers directly or through resources to finalize sales.
  • Lead the efforts of resources to drive new sales as well as on-going customer satisfaction.
  • Work with CEO, COO and other board members to maintain on-going leadership relationships with customers to ensure the maintenance of the current base as well as the growth of new sales with the medical providers.
  • As a leading the sales horizon, develop an overall sales strategy to ensure the alignment of the products with the overall strategic vision. Provide feedback as needed for the commercial and portfolio marketing teams to help drive strategic decisions.
  • Interact effectively with CEO, COO and other board members to build key relationships that support local team efforts.
  • Complete sales performance reviews. Ensure that the sales force receives the necessary training to be successful in their roles.
  • Minimize distractions by ensuring that team members understand and communicate correct services engagement paths to customers and clients.
  • Ensure that resources manage pre- and post-sales processes to facilitate smooth handoff to the services’ organization.
  • Manage effective relationships with the board members to drive overall sales for the entire American TelePhysicians portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 8-10 eight years of experience selling in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals etc
  • In-depth healthcare/pharmaceutical sales experience with a strong understanding of the selling process
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external clients
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively track sales activity, develop sales plans, understand the local market and competitive trends, and complete the analysis of sales deals
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Strong business acumen to enable selling to senior-level healthcare administrative personnel, structure sales deals, and reach pivotal agreements in the sales cycle
  • Proven leadership skills and people management ability
  • Effective planning/organizational skills
  • Demonstration of success in leadership operating in the confines of a team selling environment
