| Job Description: |
- Develop high-quality SMPS either in the lower power range of a few 100 watts or in the upper power range of several kilowatts
- Analyze specifications and create concepts using simulation tools
- Develop schematics and layouts taking into account the applicable standards and EMC requirements.
- Test prototypes and check or optimize the circuits with regard to their EMC behavior
- Throughout the development process, you work closely together with our sales and external manufacturing and development service providers.
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, preferably power electronics
- Many years of professional experience in the development of switched-mode power supplies
- Familiarity with simulation software
- Knowledge in the design and calculation of magnetic components, power loss assessments and lifetime considerations
- Experience in the layout of complex PCBs, taking into account parasitic effects and their EMC effects
- Knowledge of the safety requirements from the applicable standards and their application
