As a System Administrator at IT Consulting and Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the organization's systems and servers. Your expertise in both Linux/Unix and Windows environments will be crucial in managing the network configurations, administering cloud services such as AWS and Azure, and maintaining critical business applications. You will lead and mentor a small team of two system administrators, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes communication and teamwork. Your role will also involve implementing backup and recovery strategies, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organizations Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, including user account management and group policies.
• Implement and support cloud services operations on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network settings and connectivity.
• Oversee backup and recovery processes to safeguard data against loss or corruption.
• Conduct routine system monitoring using established tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Support Microsoft SQL Server installations, including Always On cluster configurations.
• Manage the implementation and administration of Microsoft Exchange 2019 On-Premise with hybrid connectivity.
• Ensure security measures are in place using Microsoft Defender XDR and EDR solutions.
• Utilize Microsoft System Center, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Autopilot for system management and device compliance.
• Lead and mentor a team of two system administrators, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in system administration and cloud technologies.
