Job Description:

Assistant Manager Distribution is primarily tasked with managing day-to-day operations in a warehouse or distribution center.

His responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service in the distribution center.
  • Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
  • Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
  • Arranging warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
  • Resolving any arising problems or complaints related to distribution.
  • Supervising, coaching, and training his workforce.
  • Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Maintaining metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company requirements.
  • To set targets & goals of the entire sales team.
  • To develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
  • To supervise sales activities of all Regions by reviewing monthly targets.
  • Responsible for sales growth and revenue enhancement.
  • To conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
  • Maintain relationship with existing customers for repeat business.
  • Develop creative promotional strategies to attract more customers.
  • To implement regional sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • To monitor entire team's performance and motivate them to reach targets
  • To contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Note: Candidate from Telecom Sector will be preferable.
