We are looking for a skilled and experienced Linux Expert to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, troubleshooting, and securing Linux-based systems across various environments. You should have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems, scripting, and server administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Manage user access, permissions, and backups.
• Automate tasks using shell scripting or other tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Ensure system security through firewalls, updates, and best practices.
• Work with other IT team members on system integrations and upgrades.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, etc.).
• Strong command-line skills and scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
• Experience with web servers (Apache, NGINX), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security protocols.
• Familiarity with virtualization (KVM, VMware) and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
• Linux certifications (RHCE, LFCS, CompTIA Linux+) are a plus.
