Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation

• Design and deploy secure and scalable network solutions that align with business needs.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
• Support enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments.

Network Operations and Troubleshooting

• Monitor network performance and ensure uptime and reliability.
• Identify and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.

Security and Compliance

• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents promptly.

Network Optimization

• Optimize network performance through capacity planning and traffic analysis.
• Conduct regular reviews of network configurations to ensure efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to implement Quality of Service (QoS) for critical applications.

Cloud and Hybrid Networking

• Integrate on-premises networks with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage hybrid network architectures and ensure seamless connectivity.

Automation and Monitoring

• Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitor network health and performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Cisco DNA Center.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and policies.
• Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and capacity utilization.

Collaboration

• Work closely with other infrastructure, application, and security teams to align network strategies with organizational goals.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers for hardware and service support.
