Job Description:

To support the CEO in overseeing the strategic and operational functions of the Cash Processing Centre business, ensuring efficient, secure, and client-satisfactory service delivery across all CPC sites. The Deputy CEO ensures timely operations, client engagement, machine modernization, compliance, and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Vendor Management

  • Maintain strong, transparent relationships with key banking clients.

  • Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and satisfaction assessments.

  • Ensure timely service delivery: sorting, pickups, drop-offs, and reporting.

  • Coordinate with vendors for machines, consumables, uniforms, and utilities.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure on-time sorting and dispatch from all CPC sites.

  • Monitor service performance metrics across all regions.

  • Conduct site visits to CPC cells for performance evaluation.

Innovation & Digitization

  • Lead digitization initiatives for internal operations and client interfacing.

  • Recommend and evaluate digital reporting, documentation, and dashboards.

  • Research and recommend modern note-sorting machines with cost-benefit analysis.

  • Plan and implement solar energy projects across CPC facilities.

Technical Oversight

  • Supervise machine upgrades and long-term maintenance plans.

  • Oversee lab setup and technical diagnostics environment for sorting machines.

Procurement & Cost Optimization

  • Lead competitive procurement strategies for machines, consumables, and uniforms.

  • Ensure credible vendor selection with financial prudence.

  • Review procurement quality and price competitiveness.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations.

  • Ensure insurance coverage of cash, premises, and equipment is in place.

  • Monitor utility billing and regulatory reporting standards.

HR, Training & Capacity Building

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and background checks for CPC staff.

  • Plan regular training programs to enhance skills and compliance awareness.

  • Align staffing with workload forecasts and seasonal cash cycles.

Eligibility Criteria:

Criteria RequirementEducation Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or Engineering.

Experience 10+ years in high-value secure operations, banking, or financial services; 5+ years in leadership roles.

Skills Leadership, strategic planning, digital transformation, negotiation, compliance, cost control, vendor management.

Other Willingness to travel frequently across Pakistan. High integrity and client-centric attitude.
